Mr Arambage put me at ease from my very first appointment with him. He listened intently to everything I wanted to say and never rushed or dismissed me. He was very thorough and asked me many questions and made very detailed notes - even the nurses commented to me how detailed his notes were. He was extremely empathetic and had a caring and professional manner. Even after my op, when I got an infection, Mr Arambage insisted I came straight in to see him even though he was in theatre and the hospital had closed for the evening. He told me to wait for him and he'd see me as soon as his operation had finished. He was true to his word and saw me. He examined me and issued antibiotics straight away. I used to be in constant pain with stage 4 endometriosis, adenomyosis, cysts and blocked tubes. My hysterectomy was very successful and I feel like I now have my life back. Nothing is too much trouble for Mr Arambage. He is clearly a very busy man, but he will go out of his way to make sure all his patients get the very best care. 100% recommended!

I had a laparoscopically assisted hysterectomy in September for a fibroid that has really impacted my daily life in recent years. Mr Arambage was patient and kind. He took time to go through my scan in detail and discuss the various treatment options prior to the operation. He came recommended to me and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others. Fiona, his secretary, was also incredibly helpful and efficient. She made the appointment and operation process as stress free as possible. Thank you both.

Dr. Arambage performed a hysterectomy on my wife who had stage 4 endometriosis, multiple large cysts on both ovaries and adhesion between uterine wall and rectosigmoid. He came very highly recommended by Dr Kollipara (our previous gynaecologist) who we respect a lot. As our case was quite complicated we wanted somebody who is dealing with complex cases like ours on a daily basis. We saw few other consultants in thames valley area but were not very satisfied. The first appointment with Dr Arambage was a video call which lasted around one and half hour. The way he answered all our questions and concerns with a smile, drawing pictures and making sure we understand all the choices, we already knew he was the doctor we were looking for. The operation lasted around 4 and a half hours due to all the complexities but was well executed and went as per plan. The doctor gave detailed briefing and showed pictures after the procedure. During the 3 days at hospital, the doctor visited every day and checked the healing and any other issues. During the healing period after two weeks, my wife experienced some discomfort. It was bank holiday weekend but can’t thank Fiona enough (Dr Arambage’s secretary) who was responding to emails, trying to organize consultation and doing all she could to help. The issue luckily was quite minor and my wife is keeping well roughly 2 months after the procedure now. We are grateful to both Dr Arambage and Fiona for excellent service, professional care and wish them best in future. Happy to recommend them wholeheartedly to all patients who have complex endometriosis issues, ovarian cysts and hysterectomy requirements
